2015 Beauty Favourites

2015_01

To round off the last year here are my Beauty Favourites of 2015!

Too Faced Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palette – Perfect for many different looks and just all around excellent quality! I’m always reaching for this palette!
Rimmel Match Perfection foundation –
I’ve only been using drugstore foundation this year and actually only this one. If you’re NW10 aka super pale, I highly recommend this as it’s the lightest one at the pharmacy!
Rimmel Stay Matte translucent pressed powder –
I think everyone loves this powder and I do too. Have been using it for a decade now. Can never go wrong with Stay Matte!
Dollywink Liquid Eyeliner in Black and Brown –
Picked these up a year ago and they’re still going strong. Great pigmentation and excellent staying power!
Etude House Play 101 Pencil in 28 –
Out of all the Play 101 pencils this one gets the most use. It’s a soft pearly pink and perfect for the inner eye!
Revlon Super Lustrous Creme lipstick in 660 Berry Haute –
Pharmacy level lipstick, not cheap in Australia by any means, but a really nice affordable one! It lasts a long time and I get many a compliment when I wear this one!
Covergirl Full Lash Bloom mascara in Black –
I’m still trying to find that perfect mascara but for the last part of the year this one has been serving me well! Long fluffy eyelashes are what I love and this comes pretty close!
NARS blush in Orgasm –
This photographed a lot more pink than it really is. The perfect pinky peach with gold glitter! I love this on my pale skin tone and have for years! This is my second purchase of this one.
Zoeva brushes –
Love all the eye brushes and the face highlight brush from Zoeva! I’m looking to try other brands this year but these have been serving me well in 2015!

2015_02

Canmake Glow Fleur Cheeks – At the start of the year this is all I’d wear, blush wise. Such pretty packaging and a soft peachy glow on the cheeks!
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly –
Very thick and creamy but light enough for me and I only need a couple of dots to cover everything that needs to be covered!
Majolica Majorca Lash King mascara in Black –
The mascara I was digging at the start of the year. I believe it’s a fibre one. Super black, long and thick eyelashes! With great staying power too!
Tonymoly Cats Wink Clear Pact pressed powder –
When I took a break on Stay Matte I used this one religiously. I mean, look at it! It’s a cute cat! Also works wonderfully as a powder!
Missha Perfect Cover B.B. Cream in 13 –
For BB creams it’s all about the Asian market! This shade is great for us pale girls and guys. Just enough coverage with a dewy finish!

2015_03

MAC Prep and Prime Fix+ – Doesn’t really set make up but does wonders to hydrate dry patches and get rid of any powdery look on the face. Makes a full face look much more natural!
Urban Decay Naked Basics eyeshadow palette – Had this for a few years now and love it for a base when using crazy colours, for everyday looks and for eyebrows!
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette – Believe the hype, people! Brushing the lightest shade over my face as powder made my face look so plump, youthful and glowy! Loving this! I will probably buy a single light shade in the future.

Saint Peau Eco-Friendly Snail Balancing Aqua Ampoule –
I’m all about the snail for skin care! I have a review on this ampoule up and it’s still going well! Whenever I have problem areas pop up this gets to work on them. Evens skin tone and texture, as well as brings zits down. I am really loving it!
Purebess Galactomyces 80 eye cream –
My under eye area has certainly improved since using this cream. Sometimes you just need the extra moisture and more specialised ingredients in that area to help make the difference. This one is affordable and has results!
Shu Uemura Skin Purifier in POREfinist cleansing oil –
This bottle may have cost me $60 but after a year of almost constant use it is still going strong. Works well at getting all of my make up and sunscreen off and leaves my face feeling smooth and clean!
Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream –
This legendary cream is often hard to buy and for good reason! I’ll be putting up a full review of this cream during January so look out for that!
Daiso Detergent for Puff and Sponge –
Finally, though it isn’t technically skin care, it cleans my brushes and therefore looks after my skin! The best brush cleaner in the world, seriously. I bought mine off ebay so if you don’t have a Daiso then don’t fret! It’s definitely worth checking out!

And that is all for my 2015 favourites! I’ve already thought of more categories for 2016 and will attempt to keep a better list for a more comprehensive post next time. What were your beauty favourites last year? Any that match mine?
